The Wall… Seriously, how do we feel about that?

So one of the big news items today is that the Biden Administration is going to continue building a border wall in South Texas. In fact, he waived 26 Federal laws to do so. This is interesting on several levels. 1) One of his initial campaign tactics was to make Trump look like an idiot for promising a wall (I am not saying he isn’t, or he is…I am just saying) 2) the Wall debate actually goes way before Trump. During the Obama- Biden Administration more than 100 miles of walls were built- conveniently, it didn’t make headlines. 3) Under the Bush (the second one) Administration there was actually an act of Congress called ‘The Secure Fence Act’ which allowed for 700 miles of border construction- they got to about 278 (we know how contractors can be). So when people either get really excited or upset about the wall- for some reason, its actually been going on way longer than Trump made it a thing. I have my opinion- but more interested in yours, please comment.
