Clickball

Lacrosse was not invented by a single individual but rather evolved as a sport among Indigenous peoples in North America, primarily among the Eastern Woodlands Native Americans and some Plains tribes such as the Sioux. The game was originally known as "stickball" and was played for various reasons, including as a part of community celebrations, for the settlement of disputes, to prepare warriors for battle, and as a religious ritual that was part of a ceremonial act to please the Creator.
